User Case 4: Working in Expo Mode
This user case demonstrates how to use Expo Mode, designed for presentations and demonstrations of crystal models.
Steps to Use Expo Mode
Open a Demo Model or Your Own Model: Start by opening either a demo model or a model of your choice.
Activate Expo Mode: Press the Rotate button in the Toolbar to activate Expo Mode. The model will follow an automated ∞-shape rotation, showcasing different features with a sequence of effects.
Sequence of Effects:
Initial Rotation: The model rotates to provide a full 3D view.
Opacity Change: The transparency of the model gradually shifts from 100% to 40%, revealing internal structures.
Defect Highlighting: Each defect category blinks on and off sequentially.
Core Appearance: If cores have been defined, they will appear one by one at two-second intervals.
Wafer Display: Wafers appear at 0.5-second intervals, showing the cutting plan.
Green Wafer Highlight: Green wafers (good material) blink for five seconds.
Red Wafer Highlight: Red wafers (bad material) blink for five seconds.
Wafer Disappearance: Wafers vanish, leaving an unobstructed view of the crystal.
Opacity Reset: The transparency resets back to 100%.
Looping Presentation: The sequence loops back to the initial rotation, providing a continuous dynamic presentation of the crystal model.
