Toolbar Overview
The Toolbar provides quick access to essential tools for navigating and manipulating the model. When active, the symbols are displayed in color.

Here’s what each symbol does:

Open Model |
Clicking this opens a window where you can search for the model file you want to load from your computer. You can start by viewing the Demo Model provided by Scientific Visual, or you can manually navigate to another folder. You can also use the search bar to type the file name. Once you find the file, click Submit and wait for the model to load. |

Open Folder |
Use this if you have a folder with scan files. It allows you to open and manage entire folders of files, making it easier to work with multiple scans at once. |

Save Model |
The Save Model option allows you to save your current model, including any changes or adjustments you’ve made. This feature ensures that all updates to the model are stored and can be accessed later. You can either overwrite the existing file or save a new version by choosing a different file name or location. |

Rotate |
Click the icon to start rotating the model automatically. Click again to stop the rotation. |

Synchronize Views |
This syncs all Views (2D, defects, map, 3D/main) when you rotate the model. Each view can still be manually adjusted using your mouse or touchpad (click & hold to move). |

Reset Views |
Click the Reset Views icon to bring all view windows back to their original position. |

Show Axis |
This shows the three axis lines (X, Y, Z) in all four views, helping you understand the orientation of the model. Click once more to hide the axis. |

Grid and Measurement |
Toggles the grid in your views. To customize the grid, go to the Appearance Settings in the Settings submenu (last button in the Top menu). |

Clip Planes |
Opens a new window where you can choose the axis and set coordinates (in mm) to create clipping planes, allowing you to slice through the model and view specific sections. To do this, first click on the option in the drop-down menu (or in the Toolbar). Then enter the desired parameters in the pop-up window. |
