Chapter 2: Using the Crystal Tab

The Crystal tab provides key information about the crystal model, including its shape and dimensions. You can choose to show or hide any category by clicking the corresponding checkboxes next to each item category.

The Crystal tab is organized into the following sections:

Crystal Information

Diameter: The diameter of the crystal, assuming it’s cylindrical. Height: The height of the crystal. Material: The material type of the crystal. Shape: Categorized shape of the crystal.

Auxiliary Elements

This section allows you to control the visibility and color of auxiliary elements in all views. Simply check or uncheck the boxes to show or hide these elements. You can change the color of these elements by clicking the color box, which will open a color wheel for customization.

Scan Settings & Process Settings

These sections reflect the handling parameters of the crystal scanning (scan settings) and the parameters of scan data used to create the Yield model(process settings).

Note

Mesh Texture Shape: Displays the true external shape of the crystal based on the defects and reference points you’ve mapped.

Sample Surface

Note

Sample Surface: Displays the actual surface of the crystal as captured during the scanning process. It takes into account both defects and mapped reference points to provide an accurate external representation of the crystal’s surface.
